CAD Skills in Fusion 360:

                Downloading Fusion 360

• Ask your Graphics teacher if your school has an Autodesk / Fusion 360 account. Let them know that you wish to use this in EVolocity and take our supporting tutorials. The system requirements are listed at the end of this document.
  • Now go to web page: 
    https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/students-teachers-educators

• Sign in with the most appropriate option below:
  • First option if your school already has an account
  • Second option if you wish to create a free account under your school name.

Please ensure your teachers understand you are doing this and that the download is free of charge

• Follow download instructions.

                CAD Tutorial Sessions with Dr Stephen Kavermann

The tutorial session times and links can be found below. Dr Stephen Kavermann will tutor the sessions and provide extra ideas and tips in his online Zoom meetings. Please attend as many of these as possible – you are encouraged to download the software and have a go prior to the session, and Stephen will be able to assist you further to create your own shapes, and answer any questions, at the tutorials.
Stephen is a design engineer at Fisher and Paykel Health and also teachers at Auckland University Department of Mechanical Engineering.
