The beautiful Wairarapa provides a stunning backdrop to an extravaganza of aerial action over three days at the iconic Wings Over Wairarapa. See over 70 aircraft including vintage, military, jets, helicopters, aerobatic displays, and much more! In addition to the spectacular flying programme, there are fantastic ground displays and activities for small and big kids alike.

Whether you are an aviation enthusiast or just want an entertaining day out for your friends and family, Wings Over Wairarapa has so much to offer.

As part of the event, EVolocity is taking part in the youth programme, Take Flight.

Take Flight runs for all three days of the festival, with a Schools Day on Friday offered to local schools free of charge.  On Saturday and Sunday, most activities are offered to air festival attendees for free.  Specified activities such as small-group workshops may attract a modest charge.

The programme offers interactive and highly engaging activities delivered in a variety of ways, including demonstrations, stage shows, workshops, ‘have a go’ experiences and an area for years 0 to 3 where STEM activities are more play-based.  In 2023, there is also a careers-focused programme for secondary school students, which also delivers experiences in a diverse way.
