VEHICLE PRE-SCRUTINEERING

This is an opportunity for teams to come together to assess their vehicles with engineering, electronics and welding experts. It is also a great opportunity to see what other teams are doing with their builds and get inspired!

Students bring their vehicles and scrutineers assess them as fit-for-purpose for race day. It’s important that all teams participate in pre-scrutineering to ensure you are on track for your vehicle to meet the technical specifications and safety requirements necessary for race day.

Many vehicles will not be complete and that is okay – students will be given feedback with time to make modifications or corrections before the regional final.

If you’re unable to make it to this Pre-Scrutineering Day #1 for North & West Auckland, you are more than welcome to register and attend Pre-Scrutineering Day #2 for South & East Auckland. It does not matter which one you attend, but strongly recommended that you attend one. The reason they have been divided into two locations, is to make it easier and more accessible for teams to get to a location that is closer proximity to them.
