Canterbury – Arduino Workshop
Our Arduino programming expert will take you through a series of step-by-step tutorials on connecting and programming your Arduino to enable you to build a system for your own electric vehicle.
WHAT WE WILL COVER
• Understand what an Arduino is and how it works
• Learn how to use an Arduino safely, and how to program your Arduino using code you’ve written
• Begin making a dashboard for your electric vehicle to provide performance data
• Along the way, you will learn valuable programming constructs such as variables, conditionals, loops etc
If this is new to you, you won’t be alone! No experience is necessary.
ARDUINO KIT
University of Auckland will provide free of charge a mother board with voltage and current sensors where you can plug the components in the component pack.
We will have computers with Arduino IDE installed so its not compulsory to bring your own devices however you can if you prefer.
We will provide the critical items in the component pack (Arduino, breadboard, LED, resistors) on loan for the day so you can attend the workshop even if you haven’t purchased a kit.
If you would like to purchase your own Arduino Kit these will be available on the day.
