Together, we can change futures for Aotearoa and our rangatahi

At EVolocity, we’re breaking down barriers and inspiring young Kiwis into sustainable engineering, while fast forwarding New Zealand’s clean tech future.

Our free programme empowers students across New Zealand to design and build their own electric vehicles.

Along the way, these young Kiwis learn about innovation, clean tech, and sustainable engineering, and develop the skills they need to make a positive impact on their future and the world we live in.

Our tertiary and trade related partners are keen to engage with our participants offering education or work placement opportunities.

Your donation will help more rangatahi access our programme, grow vital skills, and pave the way to a cleaner future.

I have found EVolocity to be one of the most meaningful, holistic and rewarding learning engagements that I have been involved with. The possibilities and future pathways that EVolocity has opened in the minds of these students as they are about to embark on their high school journeys, makes every minute of the experience totally worthwhile

The impact of your support

Since 2014, we have been providing practical hands-on engineering learning and career pathways for young New Zealanders.

Today, over 900 students from 120 schools are involved.

As rangatahi design, build, weld, wire, and programme, they gain valuable skills that prepare them for future careers in engineering, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Every dollar you give will help ensure more students have the opportunity to participate in our free programme.

Together, we can empower the next generation to grow technical skills, develop a passion for sustainability and innovation, become ambassadors for clean technology, and inspire others to embrace a greener future for New Zealand.

In the moment, I didn’t realise how much of a core memory EVolocity was becoming. I enjoyed how hands-on it was – building a product and getting to see it all happen. I use EVolocity learnings all the time – in engineering, and in life. When things are challenging or hard, instead of getting upset and dwelling, I can focus on figuring out solutions.
