Scrutineers will grab your front wheels and shake them back and forth. If there is wobble in your tie-rod ends, kingpins, or wheel bearings, you won’t pass inspection!
The WOF Pre-Check:
1. Check Your Hardware: Ensure every single pivot bolt uses nylon lock nuts (Nylocs) or double nuts.
2. Eliminate Play: Replace loose washers or worn rod-end bearings now.
3. Smooth Travel: Turn the steering wheel back and forth, it should move freely without grinding or binding.
