As part of our Young Women in STEM initiative, we’re thrilled to launch our Podcast Series!
Women make up only 29% of the global STEM workforce. That must change. Our ‘Women of Inspiration in STEM’ podcast sheds light on women in the global STEM workforce. Each episode features a story of a Kiwi woman working in these fields – and together, they will offer a glimpse into the exciting possibilities these careers hold, and celebrate the resilience, passion, and innovation of women in these fields.
Massive thanks to Audio Books NZ for supporting and enabling the creation of this podcast.
The first episode is live now, where Theo Gibson sits down for a chat with Julia Sothmann, an Aeronautical Engineer at Dawn Aerospace. Julia shares her journey from designing F1 race cars to an engineer at NASA. Stay tuned for more episodes featuring the stories of more women in the global STEM workforce and see what exciting possibilities these careers hold.
