Kia ora EVolocity community,
I will be stepping down as CEO after five inspiring, challenging and incredibly rewarding years at the helm. It’s been a privilege to lead EVolocity and be part of a programme that’s empowering young people in so many ways. I’ve loved every minute, watching students spark with ideas, take on new challenges, grow in confidence, and go on to achieve incredible things with their lives.
I would like to thank my team for their commitment and dedication and for always looking for ways to make our program better for our young participants. I’m also grateful for the passionate community that surrounds EVolocity, our teachers, volunteers, sponsors, whānau and supporters. Thank you for all the energy you bring to our programme and everything you’ve poured into it.
While I take a bit of time to spend with my family, I remain a strong advocate for EVolocity and I’m excited to continue following the journeys and career paths of our students as they move into tertiary study, apprenticeships and the workforce. The pathways ahead in engineering, technology and the trades are incredibly dynamic and diverse, and I can’t wait to see the mark our alumni will make on the world.
I look forward to introducing our incoming CEO in the coming weeks, I know they will bring energy, enthusiasm and vision as we continue to grow the impact of our kaupapa across Aotearoa.
Thank you for the support, aroha, and inspiration over these past five years, it’s been an honour.
Ngā mihi,
Sarah Fitzgerald, CEO – EVolocity
