Taranaki Regional Finals | October 17 | Kartsport Taranaki
October 17th marked an exciting day in Taranaki, with EVolocity students from 8 local schools coming together at Kartsport Taranaki to put the electric vehicles that they’d built throughout the year to the test on the race track.
We loved seeing these innovative young students go head-to-head in a series of speed, efficiency, and engineering-focused races. Our team was impressed by the high standard of innovation, how smoothly the vehicles ran, and the team spirit that shone through on the day.
This event was the culmination of months of hard work, and it was inspiring to see how far everyone has come from the start of the programme. A massive well done to everyone involved. We’ll be publishing the full results soon so we can celebrate everyone’s incredible efforts.
Thanks to our sponsors who made today possible, as well as all the mentors, teachers, parents, volunteers, and community members who have been part of EVolocity in Taranaki throughout the year.
