The EVolocity team were thrilled to be part of this year’s ‘Take Flight’ program at the iconic Wings Over Wairarapa event.
The beautiful Wairarapa provides a stunning backdrop to an extravaganza of aerial action over three days. You will see over 70 aircraft including vintage, military, jets, helicopters, aerobatic displays, and much more! In addition to the spectacular flying programme, there are fantastic ground displays and activities for small and big kids alike.
Whether you are an aviation enthusiast or just want an entertaining day out for your friends and family, Wings Over Wairarapa has so much to offer.
‘Take Flight’ is the re-branded youth programme as part of the event. The programme offers interactive and highly engaging activities delivered in a variety of ways, including demonstrations, stage shows, workshops, ‘have a go’ experiences and a careers-focused programme for secondary school students.
EVolocity was proudly part of the Take Flight programme in 2023, with a team on the ground engaging with school students, introducing them to the programme and the benefits of sustainable engineering in STEM education. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
