ANZ is one of New Zealand’s leaders in payroll giving, with almost 2,000 staff contributing regular amounts from their after-tax salaries and wages. ANZ matches these contributions at a rate of $2 for every $1 donated by staff. All funds go to our charitable trust, the ANZ New Zealand Staff Foundation.
Since inception in 2000, the ANZ New Zealand Staff Foundation has distributed nearly NZ$7 million in community grants to over 800 charities and community projects nationwide.
Through the generosity of our staff we support a wide variety of important community projects and services, including counselling and support for victims of abuse, assistance dogs and guide dogs, parenting programmes, financial literacy and money management courses and services, confidence building and education programmes for at-risk youth and many more. We are proud to be able to support EVolocity in the important work they do for our community, specifically by helping them to meet the costs of the National Schools Programme Manager, who oversees programme delivery for the EVolocity electric vehicle project in schools.
